The Ministry of Tourism, Brazil has opened public consultation for the restructuring of Tourism Regionalization Program today. The goal is to receive suggestions and contributions of persons directly or indirectly involved with the development of tourism policy for the country.
“The idea of restructuring the program arose from the need to incorporate new planning processes and management in line with the modernisation measures that have been adopted in public administration,” explains the coordinator general of the Ministry of Tourism Regionalization, Jun Yamamoto.
A draft of the proposed structure of the program is available at turismo.gov.br until February 23.
