Bristol Airport, has been awarded the Investors in People Bronze Standard, demonstrating their commitment to realising the potential of their people.
Bristol Airport’s commitment to communication, reward and recognition, and leadership were commended in the Investors in People assessment report. Other examples of good practice identified in the assessment included ‘Above and Beyond’ awards to recognise outstanding staff performance; ‘Treat Cards’ enabling managers to give on-the-spot recognition to staff; a comprehensive approach to internal communications; and the formation of an ‘Engagement Champions’ group. Last year Bristol Airport became the first airport in Britain to achieve WorldHost Recognised Business status, recognising its commitment to training staff to provide a world-class welcome to visitors.
Investors in People is the UK’s leading accreditation for business improvement through people management, and provides a wealth of resources for businesses to innovate, improve and grow, with a focus on good people making great business.
