Weather in Bulgaria has not at all been favourable for tourism in mountains since Sunday, January 26, the Mountain Rescue Service with the Bulgarian Red Cross announced for FOCUS News Agency.
The temperatures have been negative, varying between -8°C and -1°C. The temperature at the Cherni Vrah peak was -19°C; at Musala: -12°C; in Borovets resort: -8°C. The snow-cover reaches around 25-30 centimetres.
Incidentally, the sports facilities at the winter resorts are operating according to the weather conditions.
No incidents with tourists have been reported during the past 24 hours.
