Caribbean Airlines Returns TO Normal Operations; CEO Praises Efforts To Protect Our Valued Customers

Caribbean-Airlines-300x150Caribbean Airlines assured passengers today that all disruptions from the unprecedented pilot shortage of July 1st have been addressed. The domestic air-bridge operated at full capacity for the full day and international flights operated to schedule with minor delays in some cases as a result of the disruptions the day before.

CEO Mr. Michael DiLollo stated, “We are again fully operational. I must extend sincere gratitude to our customers for their patience and understanding during the disruption of the past day and for their continued loyalty.”

 

He praised his employees for their role in the successful management of the affected passengers and for the speed at which the recovery operations were actioned. “Our committed employees have conducted themselves to the highest levels of customer service. Some of the messages they had to deliver were difficult and they managed to do this successfully without causing further stress for our customers. By tomorrow afternoon with the deployment of our additional flight from JFK we will have successfully completed the drive to return to full normal operations.”
