China National Tourism Administration determined to better Chinese behavior abroad

Chinese-tourists-flock-to-Australia-300x168With so many complaints on Chinese tourists over the past couple of years the country’s tourism agency has decided to combat this bad behaviour which is causing so much of embarrassment for the country, the world over.

 

Chinese tourists have given several instances of bad behaviour like violating customs, destroying infrastructure and historic sites, causing disturbances on public transport and participating on gambling and prostitution.

 

The reputation of Chinese tourists has been tarnished and the behaviour of some tourists has caused many other Chinese tourists a lot of shame and embarrassment. The people who behave badly ought to be punished felt the China National Tourism Administration in its website.

 

Poor behaviour and lack of manners has caused other Chinese tourists a lot of difficulty while travelling abroad. The China tourism Administration will hunt out bad behaviour through tips from local tourism bureaus, media reports and general public.

 

Thousands of Chinese language etiquette manuals have been issued after Chinese travellers was caught drying their underwear at a temple, kicking their bell at a sacred shrine and washing their feet in a public restroom. With Chinese travellers increasing the world over and Chinese considered as the world’s biggest spenders since 2012, according to the UN World Tourism Organisation it has become all the more important to train Chinese to have better behaviours so that the world at large welcomes them with pleasure and not compulsion.
