Chinese New Year Delicacies and Poon Choi at Regal Palace of Regal Hongkong Hotel

Chinese-New-Year-Delicacies-300x197In celebrating the year of Goat, Regal Palace of Regal Hongkong Hotel wishes guests a prosperous year by parading out a series of traditional Chinese delicacies.

 

All are meticulously prepared by the Executive Chinese Chef of Regal Palace, Christopher Yeung, with a selection of superior ingredients and cooking in traditional recipes. From 19 to 25 February 2015, 10 different auspicious dishes are available to augur guests good luck, good health and good fortune in the year of Goat.

 

Traditional ingredients like black moss, dried oyster, sea cucumber and fish maw are selected to immerse guests in the festivities. These dishes include Tossed Fresh Salmon with Melon and Peanut in Virgin Olive Oil and Vinegar Dressing,

 

Braised Whole Abalone with Goose Web and Sea Moss, Braised Dried Oyster and Sea Moss with Lettuce and Pork Tongue, Braised Pork Knuckle with Sea Moss in Brown Sauce, Braised Sea Cucumber with Pomelo Peel and Shrimps Roe, Deep-fried Shrimp Paste Ball and Crispy Bean Curd. Dish is priced at $198 up.

 

Let’s indulge in the Chinese New Year delicacies at its best. The restaurant presents the Poon Choi selections from 4 to 28 February 2015.

 

Poon Choi is one of the traditional dish found from Hong Kong village ‘’Hakka’’ cuisine. It is a unique dish for celebration, like rituals, weddings, festivals.

 

The selection available at the restaurant comprises Abalone Deluxe Poon Choi, Abalone and Lobster Poon Choi and Vegetarian Poon Choi.

 

A portion of Poon Choi is able to serve 6 to 8 persons. Priced at $988 up, one day advance booking is required.

The award-winning Regal Palace serves authentic and refined Cantonese cuisine in a splendid setting.

 

With a choice of seafood and live fish, signature, award-winning dishes and dim sum delicacies, the restaurant demonstrates the true taste of Canton.

 

There are five private rooms available for banquets. Set menus and seasonal promotion menus are also available for guest’s valuable dining enjoyment.
