In an excursion to North Korea from China, a group of 51 Chinese tourists, turned nostalgic and curious in the land of the Kims. A green bus carried the group over the river and back in time, especially for the Chinese visitors.
A professor from Fujian commented that it was like visiting the school ground. The first visit was at Sinuiju with all new bronze statues of Kim II Sung and Kim Jong II and these are the first two only communist dynasties in the world.
The tourists had to offer bunch of flowers at the feet of Kims and the flowers vendors immediately after the departure of the tourists started cleaning the pavements by cleaning the flowers for the next batch of tourists.
Due to the economic and political tie ups, North Korea has turned into major tourists’ destination.
The next stop of the tourists may be the museum about the time Kim II Sung had visited. The comments on North Korea were like that they were not polluted like China.
The Chinese tourists enjoyed the good restaurants with yummy dishes with nice songs to entertain them.
