Church in Orlando organises Thanksgiving dinner for free

The-Church-in-Orlando-the-Christ-the-King-EpiscopalOn November 28, there will a complete Thanksgiving dinner for free to all the friends and neighbors of The Church in Orlando, the Christ the King Episcopal. The dinner will be held at the Parish Hall of the church on 26 Willow Drive, Orlando.

The dinner has been organized so that the members can share blessings with the community and also with the thought that everybody has a wonderful holiday meal and that no one should be alone felt Reverend Steve Clifton (Father Steve), Rector, Christ the King Episcopal Church, Orlando.

The event is being hosted by the Daughters of the King chapter of the church. The Daughters commit themselves to a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism. This event is being given for local residents, neighbors in the Azalea and Englewood Park areas and recipients of the monthly food giveaway. The church is committed to giving back the blessings that God has granted to the congregation.

Christ the King Episcopal Church is a Christian community with a mission! They are a diverse community seeking to know Christ and make Him known. Their family is composed of infants, folks in their 90s, and every age in between. They are singles, couples, and families from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. They welcome all to join our fellowship–for a single occasion or for lifetime.They value children as full members of God’s family, and provide a nursery with qualified staff at all times when they gather.
