The multi-award-winning Conrad Macao, Cotai Central is offering a selection of mouth-watering temptations and celebration set menus this Chinese New Year. Whether it be dining in high style with a group of friends, a cozy tête-à-tête over afternoon tea, an all-you-can-eat buffet with family and friends, or dinner in the privacy of a luxurious suite at Conrad Macao, the five-star hotel has it all.
Guests who stay at Conrad Macao from February 18th will receive a limited-edition exclusive Conrad Chinese New Year Red Bear and Duck; or they can also be purchased at the hotel Gift Shop.
When it comes to dining, Dynasty 8, Grand Orbit and The Lounge restaurants are all offering delectable choices for the coming Chinese New Year, with a selection of celebration set menus at the hotels’ signature restaurant Dynasty 8, elaborate buffets at Grand Orbit, or a traditional afternoon tea set at The Lounge, Conrad Macao allows guest the luxury to be themselves during the festive season.

Dynasty 8
Dynasty 8’s new Executive Chef Chinese Cuisine – Chef Mak Kip Fu has prepared a selection of magnificent Chinese feasts which will be available from 18th – 25th February. Guests can choose from either eight or nine-course set menus available for lunch and dinner at Dynasty 8, the menus feature exquisite traditional selections including barbeque combinations platters, double-boiled soup with morel mushrooms and Chinese cabbage and crispy fried chicken.
Located on the ground floor of Sands® Cotai Central, the award-winning Dynasty 8 restaurant is open Sunday to Thursday, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 6-11 p.m. (until midnight on Friday and Saturday). The set menus for four persons start at MOP 1,8881 for lunch or MOP2,8881 for dinner.
In addition, guests desiring a traditional Poon Choi meal can order a festive hamper at Dynasty 8 to take home and enjoy with their family. The Poon Choi hamper for four people is priced at MOP 1,6881 for takeaway; hampers include prawns, abalone, dried oysters, fish maw rolls and roast duck.
Grand Orbit
Grand Orbit is featuring a sumptuous Chinese New Year buffet from 18th – 22nd February, featuring Mediterranean, Western, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Southeast Asian and Indian specialities, as well as chilled fresh seafood on ice. Grand Orbit is located on the ground floor of Sands® Cotai Central and the lunch buffet is served noon to 3 p.m. daily and the dinner buffet will have two settings from 5:30-8 p.m. and 8:30-11 p.m. Lunch buffet price is MOP 2981 for adults and MOP 1491 for children and the dinner buffet price is MOP4681 for adults and MOP2341 for children.
The Lounge
A splendid East-meets-West afternoon tea will be served from 18th – 22nd February at The Lounge to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The selection includes a selection of both savoury and sweet traditional treats, tea and coffee and a nutritious Chinese soup. The afternoon tea set is priced at MOP 2082 or the deluxe tea set at MOP 2682 which also includes a Conrad Chinese New Year Bear. The Lounge is located in the Conrad Macao lobby, and afternoon tea is available 3-6 p.m. daily.
