HF Holidays has expanded its programme for 2014 to offer guided cycling tours to Cuba, Kerala, Vietnam and South Africa, as well as seven selected locations in the UK.
All tours are led by cycling leaders and/or English-speaking local guides.
Cuban highlights by bicycle
Cycle Cuba takes in the country’s varied landscape exploring old colonial-style cities such as Old Havana, Trinidad and Cienfuegos, the tropical coast, the Valley of the Sugar Mills and the Escambray mountains.
With daily cycling distances of between 20 and 44 miles, this 12-day holiday is suitable for regular weekend cyclists.
Tours through the English countryside
Groups looking for something closer to home can take on new three and four-night guided cycling holidays staying in country houses, all of which are equipped with bike storage and bike wash facilities. Bike hire is available or you can bring your own.
Guided tours in Shropshire include daily rides of 20 to 35 miles on country lanes taking in the towns of Ludlow and Much Wenlock as well as Caer Cardoc Iron Age hill fort.
