Delta Air: Gail Grimmett elected to NYC & Company Board of Directors

Delta-AirlinesGail Grimmett, senior vice president – New York for Delta Air Lines, has been elected to the Board of Directors of NYC & Company, the official marketing, tourism and partnership organization for the City of New York.

Delta Air Lines and the Delta Connection carriers offer service to nearly 370 destinations on six continents.

 

“As New York’s leading airline, Delta has worked to expand leisure and business travel throughout the region as we grow our hubs at LaGuardia and JFK airports,” Grimmett said. “That’s why it’s so exciting to be a part of NYC & Company’s board, and I look forwarding to working with this great organization to further our shared goals of boosting New York’s economy and creating new opportunities for tourism and travel throughout the city.”

 

Grimmett was elected to a two-year term on the organization’s board, and has been appointed to the group’s Executive Committee. She joins 13 other new board members, as well as 14 ex-officio members elected this week.
