deltaDelta Air Lines welcomes the opportunity to compete with Southwest and Virgin America at Dallas Love Field and believes the airport can accommodate all three carriers. Dallas citizens will benefit from having additional travel choices from Dallas Love Field.

Delta plans to serve both Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field, expanding our North Texas service to offer nearly 70 daily departures from both airports. Delta’s Love service will provide convenient access to Delta’s leading network, with nonstop service to New York-LaGuardia, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Detroit and Salt Lake City, and convenient connections to more than 300 destinations.

Delta’s Love Field proposal is part of its overall commitment to North Texas, which includes its recent expansion at D/FW Airport. Delta plans to continue to serve both airports to allow it to serve travelers who reside in all regions of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

According to U.S. Department of Transportation records, Delta is the most reliable network carrier, with industry-leading results in 2013 in on-time performance, baggage delivery and fewest flight cancellations. All of Delta’s flights will feature three different seat options – First Class, Economy Class and Economy Comfort, as well as in-flight WiFi and other amenities geared toward today’s business traveler.

Delta has invested billions of dollars over the past several years in improving the customer experience, and continues to invest in new and upgraded Delta Sky Clubs, new aircraft, improved seating, aircraft interior improvements and upgrades and the latest technology, including our award-winning Fly Delta app.

Today Delta is the preferred carrier for business travelers, having recently been named Fortune magazine’s Most Admired Airline Worldwide for the third time in four years. Delta also has been named the Best North American Airline by Business Traveller Magazine; the No. 1 airline by Business Travel News and Best Domestic Airline by Executive Travel Magazine.
