Malaysia-airlines-250x167Unruly passenger behaviour in Malaysia Airlines forced Malaysia Airlines flight MH 179 bound for Colombo to turn to Kuala Lumpur after circling over the Straits of Malacca for two hours.

This sparked off hysteria on social media as news spread of the incident and people starting having the worst premonition owing to the incidents taking place in with the Air Malaysia flight in 2014.

The passenger in the Air Malaysia flight was drunk and displayed anti-social behaviour. In recent times there has been a string of anti social behaviour.

In February a flight was forced to make an emergency landing after a drunk, topless male passenger displayed unruly behaviour as he started punching the walls of the aircraft.

In September last year a drunken passenger in a Qantas flight forced the flight to be diverted as he repeatedly tried to steal whiskey.

The Malaysia Airline flight MH 179 declared in an official statement that the flight decided to turn back to KLIA due to disruptive passenger behaviour. An intoxicated passenger started harassing Malaysia Airline’s crew shortly after the fight was airborne. Owing to his height other guests has to assist the crew to contain the passenger.

The Captain decided to turn back as the passenger’s behaviour was disturbing the safety and comfort of those onboard. Once the disruptive passenger was handed to the authorities, the flight departed for Colombo from KLIA.
