Dubai Mall is the most visited place on earth

Dubai-MallThe world’s most visited place is the Dubai Mall. It gets more foot traffic than the Eiffel Tower, Niagara Falls and Disney World combined. The Mall attracts 75 million visitors a year. The world’s largest mall in terms of floor area by the Guinness World Records it can hold 50 football pitches.
 
First opened in 2008, there are 1,200 stores, an Olympic-sized ice skating rink, an aquarium, the world’s largest shoe store, 14,000 parking spaces, and a Boeing 737 flight simulator. The huge establishment cost an easy $20 billion to build.

 

A city within a city, The Dubai Mall has 20,000 employees to look after the up keeping of the huge market place. Even though the Mall closes at 10pm (midnight on the weekends), the cleaning up job takes the maximum time. The cleaning crew of 100 sweeps vacuum and polish over 1.5m square feet of space every night makes the mall have a gleaming look. The job has to be finished before the next working hours.

 

The Mall maintenance has to done from the outside as well with the Burj Khalifa Lake — a 150m liter artificial body of water that also houses The Dubai Fountain needs cleaning everyday as the desert climate makes the water sandy. The cleaning is done scientifically with underwater robotic vacuums employed to undertake the task. There is always that extra bit required to add a touch of perfection feel the authorities, the Dubai Mall is always living up to people’s expectations and will continue to touch higher standards.
