After weeks of preparation, the food and beverage team at Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus is excited to announce that YALI Mezze & Wine Bar is ready to welcome its first guests. Having a charming terrace and surpassing Bosphorus view,
the Hotel presents its new summer outlet that offers selected Turkish wines and tasty mezzes, emphasizing Turkey’s rich and vast local flavours. The menu has been developed by talented Executive Chef Sebastiano Spriveri and his team focusing on different regions of the country, with an inspiration from Aegean coast to Marmara Sea.
Putting a new spin on wine tasting, this new bar invites wine lovers to experience twenty-two types of exclusive local wines from all around Turkey by the glass in a casual and relaxing atmosphere. The laid-back environment lends itself to a good socializing setting with a less crowded feel and more intimate appeal at a prime location on the Bosphorus, combining wine with gourmet mezze selections. Showcasing the authenticity of Istanbul, the mezze alternatives will be from hot to cold, from fish and meat to vegetables, suiting each palate.
There is more than one good reason to taste local wine when in Istanbul. Good wine has been produced in Turkey since Neolithic Hittite times, and still is. Turkey offers an array of different wines and styles, including intriguing domestic varieties. Several of Anatolia’s climatic regions, including the Marmara and Aegean, the East and the Southeast, some with volcanic soil (such as Cappadocia), are suitable for producing wine grapes.
Not only Hotel guests but also visitors along the Bosphorus can cherish their evening with exclusive local wines and flavours of YALI Mezze & Wine Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus.
