EcuadorEcuador’s natural beauties, culture, and gastronomy stand out in Bogota at the 2014 Tourism Showcase of Anato, where Ecuador participates with proposals and initiatives to learn about the benefits of this South American nation.

In statements to Prensa Latina Marcelo Bolaños, director of international markets of the Ecuadorian Tourism Ministry, said that in this edition they participate with innovations such as the Andean train, a sort of “cruise train” which in four days and three nights travels from Quito several Andean areas until the coastal region of Guayas.

Our country is known for its Galapagos Islands, Quito or Guayaquil, but we have much more products, the specialist stated, who highlighted the importance of participating in a fair like Anato’s, where we can strengthen ties between the neighboring countries, he said.

The Ecuadorian stand displays some of its best products such as its recognized roses and chocolates in the most varied shapes.

We have the world’s best cocoa and this is something that we intend to promote with a destination where tourists can watch both the cultivation process so as the final product, Bolaños expressed.

Ecuador, which always participates in other international tourism fairs such as those of London, Berlin and Spain, is currently preparing for a new international campaign that will be launched next April.

Anato fair witnessed participation of more than 700 exhibitors from about 30 countries.
