App Annie’s statistics for downloads also gives us an idea of the investment analytics and a detailed market research. The recent App Annie’s monthly travel indexes categorize travel apps by four subcategories: “travel aggregator”, “hotel and lodging,” “ground transportation”, and “airlines”.
Considering the trend of downloading mobile travel apps across the US on Apple and Android platforms, here is a list of the top 10 mobile apps according to the study:
