eNett-InternationaleNett International and easyJet have today released a virtual card solution to Travel Management Companies, Travel Agents and Corporates across Europe. eNett’s Virtual Account Numbers (VANs) offer IATA and non-IATA travel companies a more secure and effective means of payment to easyJet and all other travel industry suppliers.

eNett International – a Travelport joint venture and a global provider of specialist payment solutions for the travel industry – already provides Virtual Account Numbers in multiple currencies to many leading travel companies globally. “Our VANs provide enhanced revenue and enriched data for agents as well as improved cost control and reduced risk” said Anthony Hynes, eNett International Managing Director and CEO.

Agents signing up through the easyJet channel will receive 0.40% revenue on every payment. This will reduce payment fees for all travel bookings and provide new revenue when agents book easyJet Flexi fares. In addition, agents will be able to seamlessly reconcile payments and invoices in real-time.

Accepted through the MasterCard network, the solution guarantees all payments, eliminating credit card risk including card misuse. Agents will make bookings on easyJet.com or in the GDS and the eNett Payments Platform will generate a unique Virtual Account Number for each booking. The VAN details are automatically updated in the booking and can be produced in a variety of currencies including EUR, GBP, USD, NOK, DKK and SEK.

Agents will also receive accounts payable reconciliation and reporting that is not available through any other means of payment. “We know how difficult it can be for TMCs and Corporates to reconcile bookings to payments which is one of the reasons why we chose eNett” said Andrew Hodges, easyJet Director of Sales, Distribution & Business. “Combined with process efficiencies from a fully downloadable tool that is integrated with easyjet.com and available on all major GDS, eNett’s VANs will make payments processing easier and more cost effective for us and the trade.”

European agencies looking to generate revenue, reduce costs and resolve their back office reconciliation issues can take advantage of the eNett and easyJet partnership by registering at easyJet
