images13Eurojet Aviation, one of the UK’s leading aircraft management, charter and maintenance companies, has completed the latest phase of its expansion plans with the addition of a new Cessna Citation XLS+ to its managed fleet of world-class aircraft.

Along with the largest cabin in its class, the Cessna Citation XLS+ brings first-class luxury to all eight passengers, including WIFI and fully reclining leather seats for optimal comfort. Eurojet operates a mixed fleet of owned and managed aircraft consisting of Citation Bravos, Excels and XLS aircraft.

The move coincides with industry recognition for Eurojet Aviation services at the Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA) Excellence Awards in London’s Guildhall. The company’s Business Aviation Centre at Birmingham – a £5million investment programme which includes 41,000 sq ft hangarage, state-of-the-art maintenance facility and full service FBO – was named as the Best Handling Agent / FBO at the gala event in October.

Eurojet Aviation Managing Director Graeme Campbell said: “In addition to growing our aircraft fleet, we are delighted to have received this globally-recognised award from BACA. We are constantly looking at ways to improve our client services to offer the highest standards of travel. To have received this endorsement from the world’s largest network for the air charter market just 18 months after opening at Birmingham is a tribute to the dedication and hard work of all our staff.”

He added: “We are now actively focusing on avenues to expand our FBO network and are working with a range of partners to explore acquisition opportunities in the UK and Europe.”

Birmingham Airport’s Development Director, Will Heynes, said: “This award is great news for everyone connected with Eurojet Aviation. Being named the UK’s Best Handling Agent / FBO by the Baltic Air Charter Association is fully deserved and clearly demonstrates the excellent service they offer passengers at Birmingham Airport.

“Furthermore, the addition of a new aircraft to its fleet underlines the strong demand for flights from Birmingham and the success Eurojet has enjoyed since they launched here 18 months ago.”

In 2011 Eurojet formed a partnership with Avfuel to ensure its ground-handling teams have a greatly enhanced fuel supply, allowing for quick and convenient turnarounds. Avfuel have a presence in over 2,000 locations worldwide and are recognised as the market leader in their sector.
