The five-star Manor House Hotel in the picturesque Wiltshire village of Castle Combe is offering the perfect way to experience Bath’s famous Christmas market, with prices starting from £170 per person for a luxury one-night stay.
Running from November 28 until December 15 in the heart of Bath, the market features more than 150 traditional wooden chalets with everything needed to ensure the perfect Christmas celebration.
Visitors can choose from an array of unique handmade and unusual gifts, decorations and food items at the market – which became the first Christmas Market in the UK to be awarded a Visit England VAQAS award for being a ‘Quality Assured Visitor Attraction’ in 2012 – before returning to The Manor House to relax in five-star comfort.
Packages, which are based on two people sharing a room, include return transfers to the market, bed and breakfast and a sumptuous three-course dinner from the à la carte menu in the hotel’s Michelin-starred Bybrook restaurant.
And after a hard day of shopping and fine-dining, guests can unwind the following day by enjoying 18 holes of golf at its neighbouring Manor House Golf Club for an additional £30 per person.
Dating back to the 14th century and described as a “real gem of a hotel” in the AA report, The Manor House nestles in 365 acres of stunning countryside in Castle Combe, near Bath – one of the most picturesque villages in England – and its five-star facilities include a collection of 48 bedrooms and suites.
The Manor House Hotel and Golf Club is owned by the Exclusive Golf group alongside Mannings Heath Golf Club in Horsham, West Sussex, with both venues featuring in the latest ‘Top 100 Golf Courses in England’ standings.
