Belarusian capital will host the second art festival of Belarusians living abroad amid the Day of the City celebrations.The festival will be attended by almost 250 ethnic Belarusians representing 18 countries: Argentina, Belgium, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Estonia, Switzerland and France.
Some of the participants have already been to their homeland, for others it will be their first visit to Belarus.
The diverse entertainment programme of the festival will comprise various performances by art groups, singers, musicians. The event will also feature special exhibitions organized by the capital’s museums, including the one entitled “We are the Belarusians”, which is to take place at the National History Museum, whereas others will display works of art accomplished by ethnic Belarusians living abroad.
The participants of the festival will have an opportunity to go on a guided tour around Minsk and take a stroll visiting the historic sights of the Belarusian capital.
