cq5dam.web_.press_.400.keepaspectratio7-300x169The world of eating and drinking at the newly open Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is set to bring excitement to foodies, gourmands and lovers of good things with the introduction of five new outlets and entertainment venues. While each new destination was completely individualised, all are bound by a recognisable thread – Four Seasons savoir-faire and signature service; stunning, original décor by Alexandra Champalimaud; and contemporary food and drinks presented by the culinary team helmed by Executive Chef Marco Riva.

Palm Court
Serving contemporary dishes melding flavours from the East and the West; inspired by ingredients from Indonesia and beyond, Palm Court is the perfect place to start the day, enjoy lunch with business associates, relax over sumptuous afternoon tea, or “come home” to a comforting meal after a long workday. Dine in the light-filled, rotunda dining room beneath the 13-metre (43 foot) soaring dome where a custom-made Lasvit chandelier captivates. Inspired by the Bismarck palm tree that abounds locally, the chandelier – hand-made in the Czech Republic – is composed of 14 segments, and each a constellation of 352 to 432 unique fanning crystals creates a feeling of splendour and opulence.

Nautilus Bar
A stunning art mural depicting Jakarta’s old Sunda Kelapa trading port anchors the bar where expert Four Seasons bartenders handcraft tantalising libations, including signature cocktails specially conceived using the country’s most famous exports – nutmeg, galangal, clove and lemongrass – and exceptional, artisanal single-malt whiskies from all corners of the globe. With its dramatic décor, Nautilus Bar is the perfect setting to toast in style – from the cosy, hidden-away booths built with richly accented millwork panelling to the more social plush club chairs offering the perfect setting for the most discerning of gatherings.

La Patisserie
The city’s most craved indulgences can now be found at La Patisserie, where the precious, dainty confections can be browsed in a glamorous boutique setting. The most coveted creations includes signature specialty cakes, imaginative individual pastries and chocolate art; all presented in an elegant, robin’s egg blue salon that would have made Marie Antoinette herself feel at home. It’s a place to meet and chat, have tea, coffee and a sweet indulgence, while shopping for a beautifully gift wrapped present for a friend.

Dolcetto
The luxury lifestyle of Four Seasons is proudly represented on-the-go by Dolcetto, the Hotel’s grab-and-go destination located in between the Hotel and the Capital Place office tower. Guests in a hurry or businesspeople from Capital Place can grab a fresh coffee or juice on their way to the office or out to see the sights of Jakarta. Dolcetto is perfect for a decadent pastry or a quick lunch. It offers fantastic convenience with the signature Four Seasons touch.
