Besides the love for food, culture, fashion and design, there is an additional reason to visit Milan: the legendary Grand Prix of Italy, or Gran Premio d’Italia. It’s the perfect excuse to spend the weekend at another local landmark, Four Seasons Hotel Milano.
Engrained in Italy’s culture, the Grand Prix is one of the longest running eventson the Formula 1 calendar. It takes place every year near the city of Monza, about an hour’s drive from Milan. Built in 1922, it is the world’s third purpose-built motor racing circuit after those of Brooklands and Indianapolis.
