Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai presents the China premiere of Dinner in the Sky from June 26 to 28, 2014, showcasing the city’s most exclusive dining experience 50 metres (165 feet) high above the urban melee on Century Avenue, courtesy of a giant crane and sophisticated German engineering and safety standards.
Quoted as the “world’s most extravagant meals,” Dinner in the Sky is a “uniquely suspended dining table” hosting up to 22 guests. It has travelled globally in more than 40 countries, having staged VIP events from Paris and London to Rome, Las Vegas, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Dubai, New Delhi, Sydney and Tokyo – and now Shanghai.
Now this “high-flying restaurant” will debut above Century Avenue outside of Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai, with a gourmet meal prepared by the Hotel’s Executive Chef Weimar Gomez and his team. It will be an extraordinary thrill in which the delicacies and Champagne are further enhanced by this unique high style experience with a direct view of the world’s second tallest skyscraper and Shanghai Pearl Tower.
Four Seasons guests may choose from several culinary experiences, including a four-course lunch flight or an afternoon tea lift. A seven course dinner menu paired with an exclusive selection of the world’s finest wines and mineral waters will be the connoisseur’s highlight. Closing the evening, talented Hotel bartenders will mix guests’ preferred cocktails under the star glazed Lujiazhui night sky during the last lift. Prices range between CNY 1,888 and CNY 8,888 per person.
