Four people have been killed at the Manila’s international airport in a shooting as reported by the official Philippines New Agency.
The mayor of a town in the southern Philippines, and his wife were among those dead in the tragedy. The shooting took place around 11:20 a.m. on the 20.12.13 in Terminal 3 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Several other people were shot at by unidentified gunmen at the loading bay area of Terminal 3, causing panic among people nearby said Jose Angel Honrado, the general manager of Manila International Airport Authority.
Talumpa, the mayor of Labangan, had previously survived an assassination attempt in Manila in November 2010 and a grenade attack in September 2012 in Zamboanga del Sur.
