France, one of the most visited countries by the Chinese travelers is relaxing its visa procedures for Chinese travelers during the Chinese New year. The French Embassy in China will shorten its visa application period from 10 working days to 48 hours during this Chinese travel season.
The approaching Chinese New Year is not only a good time for the Chinese outbound market but it is also the time when the avid Chinese travelers visit international tourism hot spots. Every country in the world that prospers from tourism owes a credit to the surging Chinese outbound travel trend.
London which emerged as the leading city of the world in terms of international visitors also relaxed its visa policies for the Chinese travelers. The U.K. government is offering one day business visas for the Chinese outbound travelers. Malaysia is also offering landing visas for the Chinese travelers during the Lunar New Year.
With all these tourism and hospitality offers from the global travel industry, the Chinese holiday seekers are expected to have a good time during the Chinese New Year. Almost 97 million Chinese travelled abroad last year. The National Tourism Administration of China expects the figure to go up to 110 million in 2014, up by 13% year on year.
