Celebrating Galway as a good food destination, Galway food festival will offer food connoisseurs some of the best cuisine they have ever tasted. This year will be the second year of the Galway Food Festival and is sure to build on the success of the 2012 event.
The festival will promote good food and good food outlets in Galway, as well as showcasing food producers based in Galway and in the West.
The festival takes place in April primarily as it is the time of year when some of the best local ingredients become available such as Connemara Spring Lamb and trout and salmon caught locally. However, the food festival will begin on March 28 and continue till April 1.
