Garuda Indonesia is now operating a single-aircraft flight between the UK and the Indonesian capital of Jakarta.
The flight will operate from London Gatwick to the Indonesian capital Jakarta via Amsterdam, five times a week, and will employ the airline’s brand new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Garuda, which joined the SkyTeam alliance earlier this year, won the coveted World’s Best Cabin Staff award at the 2014 Skytrax World Airline Awards. The previous year it scooped the gong for the World’s Best Economy Class at the same event.
