GBTA Announces Launch of New Industry Committees in Europe

GBTA Final Logo_origThe Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) – the voice of the global business travel industry – today announced the formation and launch of four formal European committees for the industry across Aviation, Hotel, Meetings and Technology.

 

The committees will be comprised of experienced GBTA members who wish to share their knowledge to improve levels of competence within the industry through the creation of toolkits, RFPs, white papers, templates, webinars and educational content.

 

The newly launched committees are led by the following senior industry professionals
Aviation Committee – Chaired by Jorg Martin, Managing Director from CTC Corporate Travel Consulting and Chair of German partner association (VDR) Aviation Committee and Vice Chair Mia Andersson, Global Programme Manager from AstraZeneca Travel Service.

 

Technology Committee – Chaired by Louise Kilgannon, Global Business Partner from AstraZeneca Travel Service and Vice Chair Jean Michel Kadaner, Consultant from Key Corporate Solutions.
 
Hotel Committee – Chaired by Ulrika Rosen, Travel Manager from Tetra Pak and Vice Chair Pascal Jungfer Consultant from Areka Consulting.
 
Meetings Committee – Chaired by Izania Downie, Director Industry Strategy – Lanyon and Vice Chair Lotten Welinder, a Concept Owner Meetings from Ikea.

GBTA has established a global liaison role in each North American committee to ensure communication and best practices are shared and work products optimized for all GBTA members.
