Great Hotels of the World has acquired five new member properties to its collection. Here are the five properties acquired by the chain.
Shamana Hotel & Spa Bodrum, Mugla Turkey: Shamana Hotel & Spa is located in Torba Bay in the beautiful region of Bodrum. Surrounded by vibrant bougainvillea that cascades towards the sparkling sea, dotted with olive trees and ringed with pristine beaches, the hotel is set in a truly magical place. Each of the 32 suite and rooms offer a breathtaking view over the turquoise Aegean Sea.
Cavalieri Hotel, St. Julians, Malta: Cavalieri Hotel is located in a quiet area directly overlooking the popular and picturesque St. Julian’s Bay. The hotel is within walking distance to Malta’s main attractions and the famous promenade with its many bars, restaurants and shops. The 258 rooms are modern and stylish, with comfortable furnishings, and most of them have balconies where guests can enjoy the open sea views.
Hotel Santos Porta Fira, Barcelona, Spain: Situated in one of Barcelona’s areas of greatest economic expansion, Hotel Santos Porta Fira is considered the best skyscraper in the world and has been awarded the prestigious “Emporis Award 2010” architectural award. Designed by the famous Japanese architect Toyo Ito, the modern and cutting-edge building has 24 floors and a height of 110 metres, making it one of the architectural icons of the city.
Iberostar Son Antem Golf Resort & Spa, Majorca, Spain: Majorca’s south coast is the setting for the sublime Iberostar Son Antem Golf Resort & Spa.
