Minister-of-tourism-SeychellesThe curtain fell on the first edition of the Seychelles-China Day Celebrations on Sunday 2nd January with a spectacular artistic performance by the Chinese Liaoning Art Troupe.

A grand finale by the Liaoning artistic line-up of outstanding actors and actresses from Liaoning Ballet, Liaoning Opera House, Liaoning song & Dance Troupe, Shenyang Acrobatic Troupe and Jinzhou Puppet Troupe ended the three day festivity of the first edition of the Seychelles-China Day Celebrations.

The International Conference Centre of Victoria was buzzling with overly excited Chinese and local communities as the artists presented the ballet art of rich Chinese features, as well as acrobatic, magic, puppet and vocal music performances as a bridge of friendship built on art.

Anticipation could be felt as Wang Yansen Shenyang Acrobatic Performance Group graced the stage sending the crowd cheering with his performance of Canteen worker, combining plate-turning and humour.

The emotion tore up the room and would have made any Chinese proud when Wang Danmei national first rate actress of Liaoning Opera House made phenomenal with her Chinese and Creole song.

Before the audience could completely enjoy her powerful voice, the stage turned dark and curtain fell with a bang.

The public at large have said that watching Liaoning Art Troupe was a real pleasure and a definite marker of the success for the 2014 Seychelles-China Day Celebrations.
