Gulf Air Executive Management Team Meet Russian Ambassador to Bahrain

Gulf-Air-Executive-Management-Team-Meet-Russian-Ambassador-to-Bahrain-2 (1)Following its recent announcement of the upcoming launch of direct flights between Bahrain and Moscow, Gulf Air the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, hosted a meeting between H.E. Mr. Victor Smirnov, the Russian Ambassador to Bahrain and the airline’s executive management team, at the carrier’s headquarters.

 
During the meeting, Gulf Air Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Maher Salman AlMusallam shared news of the airline’s recent developments and presented the national carrier’s future plans for its upcoming operations to Moscow Domodedovo Airport. H.E. Mr. Victor Smirnov praised the airline’s commitment to providing the first commercial air link between Bahrain and Russia and pledged support to Bahrain’s national carrier.
 

Gulf Air Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Maher Salman AlMusallam said: “We are delighted to add Moscow to the Gulf Air network. Public response following the announcement of this newest addition has been overwhelmingly positive. With four weekly flights starting from the 28th of October this strategic business and tourism link will enhance the Gulf Air network giving our passengers access to a key global destination. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Embassy of the Russian Federation and H.E. Mr. Victor Smirnov for their support.”

 

H.E. Mr. Victor Smirnov, the Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, commented: “We are pleased to see Gulf Air’s commitment to providing the first commercial air link between Bahrain and Russia. In light of this development we are looking forward to working closely with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier and pledge our ongoing support to the airline. ”

 

Gulf Air will be launching flights to Moscow Domodedovo Airport on the 28th of October 2014. The four weekly flights will be operated by an Airbus A320-ER aircraft in a two-class configuration, featuring 14 Falcon Gold Class seats and 96 Economy Class seats.
