A mixture of art galleries, a tea room, a hotel and even a homecooked food delivery business – all based in Harris – have been awarded TripAdvisor’s 2014 Certificate of Excellence.
Testament to the outstanding level of service and visitor experience they have delivered,
the Certificate of Excellence award is based solely on customer reviews and places these businesses in the top 10% of all businesses worldwide reviewed on TripAdvisor.
The six businesses comprise art galleries and cafes at Hebrides Art in Seilebost, First Fruits Tea Room in Tarbert, Temple Café in Northton and The Anchorage in Leverburgh. Rodel Hotel and Croft 36 have also been awarded the Certificate of Excellence.
Croft 36 is an outside catering business, delivering ready-to-eat freshly-prepared home-cooked meals to holiday cottages, camper vans and tents from their croft and shop in Northton, helping to service self-catering visitors to Harris with the very best of local produce.
Alisdair Wiseman, who owns and run Hebrides Art, said:
“This is our second consecutive Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor and we are absolutely thrilled not just to have maintained our existing standard, but with so many other awards in Harris, which means our visitors and customers are getting a truly world class experience when holidaying in Harris.
