“We applaud the FAA’s new policy and are excited to allow our customers to use their devices throughout their flight when they travel with us,” said Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian Airlines president and chief executive officer. “We’re committed to improving the travel experience for our customers.”

As approved by the FAA, Hawaiian Airlines now allows the use of personal electronics, gate-to-gate, across its fleet of wide-body, twin-aisle Airbus 330-200 and Boeing 767-300ER aircraft on domestic routes between Hawai’i and 11 U.S. gateway destinations, as well as its fleet of Boeing 717-200 aircraft on Neighbor Island routes. The FAA policy covers domestic and international flights while within U.S. airspace.
