Hawaiian Airlines Promotes Avi Mannis to Senior Vice President – Marketing

Hawaiian-AirlinesHawaiian Airlines has promoted Avi Mannis to senior vice president – marketing. In his new role, he will continue to oversee the airline’s brand management, advertising, promotions, direct marketing, online experience, product development, consumer affairs and reservations departments. Mannis reports to Peter Ingram, Hawaiian Airlines’ executive vice president and chief commercial officer.

“Since joining Hawaiian Airlines seven years ago, Avi has played a key role in our growth and expansion into new markets, as well as elevating our brand and product to where it is today,” said Ingram. “We look forward to him generating more creative ideas and marketing initiatives that will maintain and build upon our position as the carrier of choice for travel to the Hawaiian Islands.”

 

Mannis joined Hawaiian Airlines in 2007 as senior director – transformation. He served as the vice president of revenue management and schedule planning from 2008 to 2011, and vice president – marketing from 2011 to 2014. Prior to joining Hawaiian Airlines, he was a principal at The Boston Consulting Group in New York City and Paris, where he consulted on new market opportunities, revenue growth, and cost reduction for global financial services and technology companies.
 
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in old world archaeology and art from Brown University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.Mannis currently serves on the board of directors for the Lanakila Pacific Foundation, After School All Stars Hawaii and Straub Clinic & Hospital.
