Hawaiian Airlines has once again been ranked by Travel + Leisure readers nationwide as the top domestic carrier serving Hawai’i, according to the magazine’s 2014 World’s Best Awards.
The results of the survey, conducted between December 2, 2013 and March 31, 2014, were released by the magazine last week.
“Our teams on the ground and in the air work hard to deliver the very best Hawaiian service to all of our guests, so we are thrilled to see their efforts recognized in this survey,” said Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian Airlines president and CEO.
“Recognizing that every trip to Hawai’i is special, we will work hard to ensure that Hawaiian remains the carrier of choice when visiting the islands.”
In the Top Airlines category, Travel + Leisure readers placed Hawaiian Airlines among the top domestic carriers for the sixth consecutive year, rating it third overall—a one position improvement from last year’s ranking.
In addition, four Hawaiian Islands were also ranked by the magazine’s readers in the Top Islands category, placing Maui, Kaua’i, Hawai’i the Big Island, and O’ahu in the Top 10 Overall.
As Hawai’i’s biggest and longest-serving carrier, Hawaiian provides approximately 160 daily jet flights between the islands, making all of these top travel destinations conveniently accessible via the airline’s comprehensive route network.
Along with being the nation’s best on-time carrier with conveniently scheduled daily, non-stop flights from 11 U.S. gateway cities, Hawaiian is the only U.S. airline that serves complimentary meals in coach to its customers at meal time.
In addition, Hawaiian also offers Hawaiian music as part of the entertainment offerings, the award-winning inflight magazine Hana Hou! and the airline’s exclusive Hawaiian Skies video magazine profiling places, people and sites to see in Hawai’i and special made-in-Hawai’i snacks for purchase.
