The event launched with Christopher J. Nassetta, president and chief executive officer, Hilton Worldwide and 115 Team Members from the Global Headquarters in McLean, Va. helping to assemble food packs for distribution to local schools. Assembled food packs will be provided to local low-income school children as supplemental meals for the weekend through the Food for Others food bank’s Power Pack Program. This was one of many service projects completed today, with hundreds scheduled to take place throughout the week as part of Team Members’ commitment to Travel with PurposeTM.
