Hindus stand in solidarity with Sikhs commemorating 2012 Wisconsin shooting victims

unnamed2-238x300Hindus have joined Sikh Temple of Wisconsin Oak Creek  in commemorating the victims of August five, 2012 shooting and paying tributes to the departed souls.Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada today, commended the STWOC stand on this issue: We must take a stand against violence by coming together with kindness and love.

 

 
Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, said: We remember the martyrs of August five, 2012  on the second anniversary of the shooting and our hearts go out to the victims and their families and the community is still deeply saddened at this tragedy. It was a senseless and shocking violence on a group of worshippers.

 
Mourning this loss, Rajan Zed pointed out that Sikhs had made lot of contributions to USA and the world. Various faith and inter-faith groups nationwide should join hands to express support to the Sikh community and to spread the message of peace, love and harmony at grassroots level, Zed stressed.
