Bellingham-300x63Celebrate the Holidays on the Farm through Dec. 22 at Bellewood Acres in Lynden. Enjoy live music, cookie decorating, ornament making, holiday spirits, mouth-watering comfort food while catching up on your holiday shopping. Santa Claus will even be joining us for a very special Winter Solstice & ‘Sleigh Rides’! This is the place to be all December long. Fun for the entire family! Dec. 6– 8, 2013 is the second annual “Christmas on the Farm Market”. Taking our cues from the traditional German “Christkindlsmarkt”, BelleWood will have the Whatcom Art Guild and local artists and vendors displaying and selling their wares all weekend. Artist reception from 2-4 p.m on Saturday along with Live Music from The Prozac Mountain Boys. Happy Hour continues with Hard Cider Bar and Live music with The Blueberry Hill Band on Sunday, 2-5 p.m. Hot Spiced Cider and Christmas Cookie decorating will be available to take on a brisk stroll on the farm. It’s not too late to pick the perfect Christmas tree and wreath. Dec 13 – 15 – Christmas is around the corner so why not come to BelleWood for “Shop and Sip and Snack” happy hour. Enjoy great food, special cocktails, fun and unique locally made gifts. Take a distillery tour and tasting and stock up on Craft Spirits for your holiday parties. Cookie Decorating and Live Music 2 -5 p.m. from Br’er Rabbit on Saturday and David’s Drinking Band on Sunday. BelleWood will donate 5% of all Saturday sales to benefit Volunteers of Whatcom County. This organization seeks to transform people and neighborhoods by providing a means for volunteers, nonprofits, schools, government and health care organizations to come together to solve community challenges. Dec 20 – 22 – Winter Solstice & ‘Sleigh Rides’. Holidays on the Farm hits it’s pinnacle with avisit from Santa Claus, Dec. 21, 1-6 p.m. Stop in and see the big guy! Take pictures with your own camera or have a BelleWood staff members capture the memory. Sleigh Rides the NW way will be available from Cramer’s Classics featuring their Clydesdales pulling a covered Trolley. 2 – 5 p.m.! Enjoy a Hot Cider and cookies or Hot cider with Warm Brandy upon your return. Live music from 2-5 p.m. featuring The Gallus Brothers on Saturday and Lindsey Street on Sunday. Source:- Bellingham
