Hong Kong Airlines, the internationally-acclaimed full-service airline, celebrated its daily direct service to Osaka, Japan today. The new service further strengthens the airline’s network in Japan. To mark the official launch of this route, Hong Kong Airlines held celebrations at both Hong Kong International Airport and Kansai International Airport.
Before departure, all passengers scheduled to depart the flight from Hong Kong on HX6028 were presented with a commemorative certificate and souvenir to mark the occasion and show gratitude for their support of the route. Passengers taking the flight expressed their excitement about the journey ahead. On arrival at Kansai International Airport, all passengers, flight crew and representatives of Hong Kong Airlines received a warm welcome from airport representatives.
Later, all passengers scheduled to depart with flight HX6029 from Kansai were presented with specially designed goodie bags to commemorate the occasion. At the check-in counter, passengers were greeted with Hong Kong-food-themed photo props, setting their mood for the journey and enabling them to share the happy moments on social media platforms.
Mr. Li Dianchun, Chief Commercial Officer of Hong Kong Airlines said, “Osaka is a city of great charm, and with its proximity to popular travel destinations around Kansai area such as Kyoto, Nara and Kobe, there are always reasons to visit Osaka. Hong Kong Airlines will continue to expand our route network in Japan and Asia, providing more travelling options for tourists, while strengthening Hong Kong’s position as one of the world’s major aviation hubs.”
Hong Kong Airlines currently has over 30 destinations covering the Asia-Pacific region. With the daily direct service to Osaka, Kansai, Hong Kong Airlines now operates a total of 49 weekly flights between Hong Kong and Japan, including twice-daily flights to Okinawa and Narita, Tokyo, five-time weekly service to Sapporo and Kagoshima and twice-weekly service to Okayama and Miyazaki.
