The National Day fireworks display over Victoria Harbour will be held at 9pm on October 1 to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
Nearly 24,000 pyrotechnic shells will be discharged during the 23-minute show.
Its highlights include a bauhinia pattern in the second scene, the Winter Olympics’ five rings in the fourth scene, and heart shapes and “LOL” wording in the eighth scene.
The display will reach its climax in the last scene with fast and rhythmic firing of shells in the final 28 seconds.
