The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) hosted it’s finale prize-handover event bringing the successful matric ball campaign to an end on 8 August 2014. The campaign engaged with learners and schools throughout Cape Town, and included a competition where we received many entries from eager matriculates, all hoping to win a prize generously gifted by the sponsors which was valued in excess of R14 000.
A Matric Ball is a significant moment for all students – a time to celebrate a symbolic farewell to their schooling system and an opportunity to relax and enjoy a night with friends after lots of hard work. To the schools that attended, it was a glimpse of the magic that the CTICC can create, because we believe that an event is not simply an event, but an opportunity to create lasting memories, human exchanges and extraordinary experiences!
