HSMAI Europe and Hospitality Technology Europe (HTE) partner to create The HSMAI Europe Awards to recognise the leading experts and industry professionals. The Awards will acknowledge the TOP 20 EXTRAORDINARY MINDS IN SALES, MARKETING & TECHNOLOGY across Europe.
The 2014 Top 20 recipients will be judged by a panel of senior industry executives for their recent work, based on the following criteria: creativity and innovation; cutting edge sales, marketing, revenue and technology campaigns; achievement in challenging situations; and sales efforts that resulted in significant gains.
“The Top 20 will become our annual hot list, that celebrates the sales, marketing and technology leaders and innovators in our industry, says Ingunn Hofseth, president of HSMAI Europe, continuing: The creative strategies, passionate dedication and sharp intelligence of these professionals have not only grown the business within their organisations but have also truly raised the bar for the hospitality industry as a whole.”

The Awards Ceremony will be held on the 4th February at the prestigious Jumeirah Carlton Tower, and all delegates on the Hospitality Technology Europe VIP programme are invited to attend what promises to be one of the highlights of the hospitality calendar.

The Top 20 award recognises outstanding individuals. Please email us with the nominees name, title and company name, together with a short (max 150 words) paragraph on your reasons for nominating them. Please send nominations via email to firstname.lastname@example.org marked in the subject line as Top 20 Individual Award Nomination.

HSMAI Europe will also honour companies that have excelled in the following categories:

HSMAI European Travel Marketer of the Year
In addition to the Best in Class awards, one company will be awarded the title “European Travel Marketer of the Year”. The grand winner must have won at least one gold in one of the Best in Class marketing awards.
Each entry will be judged according to the category criteria and the following:
Challenge – Describe the challenge that your company attempted to meet
Solution – Give a brief description of the rationale behind the submitted entry
Goal – What was the goal of the activity?
Effect – Describe the effect of the activity

A panel of industry experts selected by HSMAI Europe from among its membership and leadership will review nominations for the Top 20 Awards. HSMAI selects judges who have demonstrated exceptional leadership ability and have outstanding knowledge of the hospitality industry. Judges are held to the highest standards of integrity and commitment to honouring individuals who have shown extraordinary leadership in our industry over the last 18 months. The entire judging process adheres firmly to these guiding principles and judges must exclude themselves from scoring any nomination that may present a conflict of interest. Nominations are scored on a scale of 1 -10 for the results of their leadership for specific sales and marketing initiatives.
