The International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) announced today the newest addition to its awards program, the IAEE International Excellence Award. The IAEE International Excellence Award recognizes an individual and/or organization who has made exceptional strides in creating, launching and managing an international event in the exhibitions and events industry on an international scale.
“In 2013, IAEE covered significant ground in expanding our international reach,” notes IAEE President and CEO David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA. “It became obvious fairly quickly that we have strong advocates across the globe – not just on IAEE’s behalf but for the exhibitions and events industry as a whole – and we are eager to recognize and encourage their efforts.”
Qualifications for this award include, but are not limited to, demonstrating significant development and/or improvement in the following areas:
Exhibitor and attendee growth at an international show(s)
Expansion of education opportunities in a particular region
Industry advocacy across international borders
Promotion of IAEE’s programs and presence on an international level
The recipient of the IAEE International Excellence Award will be honored during IMEX Frankfurt held 20-22 May 2014 in Frankfurt, Germany. Click here to submit a nomination. Nominations for this award must be received by 10 March 2014.
Each year, the International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) recognizes and awards professionals in the exhibitions and events industry for their contributions. Industry professionals can be nominated for any of the awards as long as they meet the criteria outlined by IAEE. These awards represent IAEE’s highest honors and are presented at Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition.
