The Idaho Travel Council will hold its annual spring meeting at the Hampton Inn in Twin Falls, Idaho on Tuesday, March 25 beginning at 9:00 a.m. and Wednesday, March 26 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the conference room.
Tuesday’s agenda includes discussion of the tourism budget, grant program updates and procedures, the Idaho Conference on Recreation and Tourism, Drake Cooper agency updates and a presentation on the Chobani Story.
The Council will hear from Matt Borud, Idaho Commerce’s new Business Development Administrator, and tour the Glanbia Cheese Innovation Center.
On Wednesday, the council will hear updates from the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce and Southern Idaho Tourism and a panel discussion focusing on Economic Development and Tourism working together.

Growing Idaho’s economy by increasing visitor expenditures throughout the state is the goal of the Idaho Travel Council and the Idaho Department of Commerce-Travel & Tourism Development office.
The Idaho Travel Council is an eight-member, private-sector advisory board appointed by the Governor. Members include:
