IHG®, which employs more than 1,300 corporate workers in the Atlanta metro area, ranked fifth among 25 large companies.

“We are honored to be recognized as one of Atlanta’s top places to work,” said Kirk Kinsell, president, the Americas, IHG. “People are at the heart of everything we do at IHG and we strive to be an employer of choice by fostering a culture where everyone can reach their potential.”

IHG is committed to creating an environment where everyone can give their best and make a difference. Employees are encouraged to bring their unique personalities, interests and skillsets to work toward a shared purpose of creating Great Hotels Guests Love.

More than 50,000 metro Atlanta employees from 211 corporations participated in a 22-question survey conducted by the AJC and Workplace Dynamics LLP. The final Top Places to Work list is composed of 25 large companies (500 or more employees), 35 midsize companies (150-499 employees) and 40 small companies (149 or fewer employees).

Earlier this month, IHG was also named to the FORTUNE World’s Most Admired Companies list and The Sunday Times’ list of the 25 Best Big Companies to Work for in 2013.
