Peruvian Minister of Economy and Finance Luis Castilla will attend the inPeru roadshow USA 2014 from March 6-7, 2013 in New York city.
The inPeru USA road show, which is expected to bring together 300 foreign investors, is aimed at promoting Peru as an ideal place to attract foreign investments.
The event will also showcase the Andean country as a unique investment opportunity in emerging markets.
In the inPeru roadshow USA 2013, Peru submitted 23 investment projects worth over US$ 12 billion. The roadshow included stops in New York City, Chicago (Illinois) and San Francisco (California).
inPERU is a Peruvian non-profit association recently founded by the main economic stakeholders of the Peruvian capital market, all of them committed to promote investments in Peru among foreign investors.
Meanwhile Export and Tourism Promotion Board (Promperu) alongside three enterprises from the country’s jewerly sector will participate at the upcoming Hong Kong International Jewellery Show in Hong Kong, China.
The Peruvian delegation will seek to promote the country’s exportable offer at the Asia’s leading jewellery event to be held at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) during Mar.6-9, 2014.
“The fair will allow us to showcase our exportable offer and that Peruvian jewelry companies identify new business opportunities in the Chinese market,” Promperu said.
The 2013 event attracted 3,341 exhibitors and 42,113 buyers from all over the world.
