An opening ceremony of an exhibition was held on September 25th, prepared by Incheon International Airport Corporation to celebrate the ‘Hangul Day’s reassignment as a national holiday after 23-year-break.
The theme of a specially prepared exhibition is a celebration of a 567th birthday of ‘Hangul’, proclaimed by the Great King Sejong.
Incheon Airport Corporation and Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation have arranged the experience hall and the exhibition on the 4th floor of the passengers’ terminal at the traditional crafts exhibition hall, located in the transfer lounge. The purpose of this outstanding exhibition with the theme of ‘Hangul – Coloring the World’ is to introduce the beauty and excellence of Hangul.
