Incredible India promotes tourism in the country by introducing a short film contest

tourism-indiaIncredible India partners with Trivone Digital Services Pvt Ltd, to launch a short film contest with an aim to promote Indian tourism especially exotic destinations in the country. Short films featured in this contest will present various pristine Indian destinations and thus aid in promoting tourism in the country.
The contest, open to both Indians and foreign nationals, aims to promote unexplored destinations and encourage visitors to share their travel adventures. Anyone can upload travel videos depicting best destinations, travel experiences and guidelines to visit unexplored places. These videos must be of less than three minutes’ duration and portray their talent. The initiative has already received over 1,800 entries.
Contestants have to be aged 18 or above to participate in the free online contest. The short films will be judged by a high-powered jury combined with an online poll, which will be initiated once the call for entries closes down, the release stated. Eminent filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, who made several memorable films such as India’s first silent movie in colour ‘Pushpaka Vimana,’ will head the jury.
