According to reports, the plane lost control after taking off from an airport in Indiana.

“Our fire crew was on another run a block away and witnessed the plane banking hard and it didn’t pick up altitude so it went down,” Greenwood Fire Chief James Sipes told The Associated Press in a telephone interview.

“The wing hit one house, nosed in at the fence, flipped over and clipped the other house.” Luckily, no one on the ground was injured.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be revealed
